Walmart, Too Big To Fail, Fires 25 year veteran of Navy and Naval Reserves...uh, I mean the CEO

Delicious somehow...

Rah Rah America, Rah Rah Loyalty, Rah Rah The American Dream.... oh wait... uh, sorry, profits down... CYA BUD!

Bill Simon, (54), an affable person, is no merchant. While he has learned the retail language and is a dynamic leader, he was not schooled in the fundamentals of a discount retailer. He has risen through the management ranks at various companies and was a political appointee in Florida. He served 25 years in the Navy and Naval Reserves. Recent decisions to be more aggressive in pricing for back to school shows that again the company has lost sales momentum in their domestic Walmart stores.

You lie down with the dogs, you wake up with the fleas.

with a pretty good record of treating their employees well. He couldn't get more than thirty hours and very often there were more employees in the store than customers.

He got another job the same day. He's a smart kid and a reliable worker, but he's happy to just do what he's told.

No more, no less.

Business is pretty lousy for most retailers.

They overbuilt and then ran the stores into the ground by failing to stock merchandise and slashing their employees hours. The fact that Sam's kids put all their money destroying public education, sending jobs to China, and backing the slashing of benefits and wages of the poor and working classes demonstrates how clueless they are. Sam's kids worked to destroy their customers economically and now do not understand why they no longer have customers.

These stupid rich people killed the goose that laid the golden egg. Unfortunately, Sam's kids will never have to worry about paying the bills or buying food and medicine, thanks to all the working class and poor folks who made them fabulously wealthy in the first place. Rich people are stupid. No one tells them their ideas are ridiculous.
