That, at least, is the claim in a medical malpractice suit filed this week that has men across the state, if not America, clenching their midriffs in horror.

Occasionally, but not rarely, older men with excess foreskin would come in for a circumcision because of chronic infections; primarily because it's difficult to keep their penis clean with the hooded tip. It was a very simple procedure done under local anesthesia with sedation.

When I went in for shoulder surgery the Dr signed his name on my left shoulder to be operated on and wrote "not this one" on my right shoulder. My dad's Dr did the same for his knee replacement.
