I noticed when listening to the Progressive Voices channel on the Tunein app that the weekday edition of Ring of Fire was replaced with the Leslie Marshall Show, and the 3 hours between Marshall and Mike Malloy now have David Pakman and a replay of Bill Press. Apparently the last weekday Ring of Fire with Sam Seder was on July 11. Which leaves the nationally syndicated progressive talk shows as follows, all times Eastern:
6-9am: Bill Press
9-noon: Stephanie Miller
noon-3: Thom Hartmann
3-6: Leslie Marshall
6-9: Alan Colmes; Norman Goldman
9-mid: Mike Malloy
I don't see any news articles anywhere reporting on this. Today, Mark Levine (last name pronounced luh-veen, unlike the right wing talker Mark Levin) guest hosted Leslie Marshall's show. I wonder what's going on with the progressive talk landscape now with another program change.

(23,620 posts)I listen to it on my ipod. It's the only thing that gets me through my hour at the gym. In addition to Bill Press, Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartman they also broadcast; Ari Rabin-Havt, Michelangelo Signorile and Mark Thompson on weekdays, Mike Malloy Tuesday-Saturday and Media Matters Saturday.
Over the air broadcasting is extremely difficult for progressive/liberal talkers. Political talk in general was hurt by the Rush Limpballs/ Sandra Fluke incident. Many major sponsors pulled out of commercials not only on Limpball's show but most other political talk shows. RW talkers are propped up by the RW deep pockets, not to mention that most AM stations are owned by RWer's
