Israel is going nowhere.. Palestinians are going nowhere...

The middle east is not going to change and embrace anyone...

Palestinians cannot keep lobbing missiles at Israel and not expect retaliation

Israel cannot isolate the Palestinians in the desert, with no way to the sea, no way for them to build an economy and not expect people to do what ever it takes to live..

Everyone is at fault here. We can go through the history.. but we are dealing with the here and now.

The United States cannot make these countries come to the table alone..

We need another country to step in and broker..

A new broom as the old saying goes.

There can be no compromise. I think one side will end the war by annihilating the other.

That's about the only way such a terrible knot can be undone.

The other alternative is for the Palestinians to somehow enforce a peace that has favorable terms for them. But I don't think they can ever do that.

Israel could give up land on its own, but that would not satisfy Palestinians who want the whole of Palestine.

There, unfortunately, is no solution. A different third party would not help, not in the slightest. And no other country is viewed by Israel as trustworthy or understanding both sides of the issue.

It's just tragic at this point.

Right now, all you can do is pray for peace.

We, the USA, need to just walk away, and stop spending our time, money and resources in that region.

at this point in time.. in fact no one is trusted on any side.. so maybe the Egyptians are on to something.. keep them separated, and go back and forth till they come to some resolution.
