She's a grifter, so she'll make her $ before it crumbles.

12. The people behind it are using her as a demo, a poorly chosen demo, but it the project itself

is a platform allowing anyone with a fan base or following to establish such a 'channel' with ease. She was their choice for their roll out, and she is bringing lots of publicity to the service, but it is the worst kind. They would have served themselves better with a midlevel pop star being their roll out example.
The idea is that some soap stars or writers or musicians will pay this company to make 'channels' for them, which their fans would subscribe to. So what they are backing is the platform, she's a commercial for that platform. They did not make it for her, nor because of her, they are trying to use her to attract a customer base that is largely repelled by her. Their target customers will assume they selected her because they like her, and they will not gain the business of the people they are hoping to sell this to.
However, I do agree that they will fail, and part of the reason is that they picked the wrong example channel and first public user.

and like you say, it is a demo. And yes, now they will be scaring off all those who would not want to be associated with her using the same company. They are shooting themselves in the foot. She is probably getting paid by them, and that money is going to waste.
In the end they probably won't have enough channels to sustain them.

Do we know who is behind this anyway?
