Americans appalled by our government's support for this on-going atrocity need to do more than post angry messages on discussion boards.
Our government ignores us, anyway.
It's time for direct actions and civil disobedience to stop the killing machine.
I'm not so far from the port of Oakland. Maybe there will be an action there.

Certainly, AIPAC has bought many politicians or created fear in them. I was unaware that there are a large number of people with dual citizenship in our congress.
On edit:
In fact, now that Eric Cantor lost his re-election there will only be Christians in the House. The Senate is a bit more diverse. It even has Keith Ellison who is a Muslim Senator.

Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Yeah- it is way out of line.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Yeah, the post is "disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive" and "over-the-top", all phrased as rhetorical. It is also confounding a historical extermination of the Jewish people by Germany with the current state of Isreal, a Zionist state actor exterminating Palestinians. I rarely vote to censor, but this one hit so many points of TOS, I can't in good faith not vote to censor.
Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

(10,495 posts)comes to Israel and Jews, "I heard him complain about the Rye bread in Steinberg's deli." " Well I heard him say he was thinking about, possibly, voting for the same amount of aid that Israel got last year not more, can you believe it!"
Yet another fine example of the Root problem we should be complaining/protesting about, the campaign money they and their supporters give to our politicians that require them to do whatever Israel asks/tells them to do! I guarantee that if Mexico had as many wealthy, influential Donors as Israel does, we would take whoever they wanted us to take across our borders! It's a win-win-lose proposition. Israel wins money, weapons, and the use of our power in the world, the politicians wins the election with the money raised from wealthy Donors (millions), and we the Tax Payers lose BILLIONS of our tax dollars given to these other countries while we cut Meals on Wheels to the elderly because we spend more than we take in.
We are being screwed ROYALLY! We need to stop this shite by organizing the biggest protest in our history since the campaign bribery is what is preventing all of the good, common sense solutions to our problems. This Fall campaign silly season, let's hit the streets in cities/towns around the country (September 13th - November 4th and beyond) and DEMAND AN END TO MONEY IN OUR ELECTIONS! It has been suggested that we protest outside of the TV and Radio stationsCampaign Finance REFORM will always be too little, to late. Make that shite illegal so we can arrest their asses, or give the corporate death penalty if a corporation gets caught doing it.
If you know someone upset enough at the genocide going on in Gaza that they want to protest or join a group to fight our involvement, in groups for equal pay for women, background checks for assault weapons, LGBTV issues, environment, education, legalized marijuana, all of the things that a majority of Americans want, but won't get because the corporations or the the 1% oppose it (Big Donors), get them and their group involved in this fight so they can get what they should already have!
By demanding the end to campaign donations, we will have to have Publicly Funded Federal, State, and Local Elections. Most of the campaign costs will be absorbed by the culpable media airing the campaign ads as a public service for using the public airwaves under license. We will get our Representative Democracy back. No longer will our politicians do the bidding of the rich and powerful and ignore the rest of us! We can make it happen if we get everyone with a cause to realize that they will not get what they want as long as they are outspent in campaign fundraising!
For those of you that blow this off and say it would never work, please tell me, what other possible solution do you have? It won't work if we cannot get the people, but enough would at least change the conversation before the midterms!
