I've been having second thoughts about Elizabeth Warren

Obama surprised me with his inner republican. True, I'm glad he's Prez and not Rmoney, but too often he's coddled to the right.
Obama's been a Dem all his life, while Elizabeth is just a recent convert. And that seems only based on economics. There's a whole slew of progressive issues that I haven't got a clue as to how she stands. She's certainly not taking any courageous stands publicly on them. And if she supported progressive issues in the past, then how could she have been a repub all those years?
Don't get me wrong, I like what I have heard from her. It's what I don't know that bothers me.
What I really want is another black man for president. Neil deGrasse Tyson. A black woman would be even better.

which, in the world we live in, means "the candidate who's the best fit with my politics who stands a chance of getting elected". Whether that person is black, white, or Asian; male, female, or transgender; gay, straight, or bisexual; Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or atheist...these things are kind of secondary to "isn't an insane corporate-fascist right wing nutter" and "can get elected".

Or however the French spell it. There are many pols for whom I could vote, but as I stand and survey the lot, the faces of color stand out. Now that it's been proven that they "can get elected", let's do it!

In a primary, I will vote for someone else besides Hillary; as a woman, I don't care that Hillary is a woman. The job is too important to use that as a qualifier.
We ALL are going to have to go on gut feeling, not depend on campaign rhetoric, and - not let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
The sticking point is who we decide is the Good. For me, the Good is not Hillary. There is nothing that could possibly balance the scales weighed down by the TPP.
