&feature=youtube_gdata_playerThe journalist attacked works for KSTP news in Minneapolis, I don't think I need to say anything else this video captures a crime commited by the Minneapolis police and speaks for itself.
Demand the officer in that video is arrested and charged with assault.

(12,041 posts)I doubt the station will stand up for their own employee so we will have to do it for them. The owner of KSTP is Stanley Hubbard, he is a huge financer of the right-wing. (His campaign donations can be viewed here http://www.newsmeat.com/fec/bystate_detail.php?city=Saint+Paul&st=MN&last=hubbard&first=stanley).
KSTP is the most right wing station in town, in fact until a couple of years ago their lead anchor was a former communications director for the Republican Party and their meterologist is a prominent climate change denier. I think KSTP will be perfectly fine with their cameraman getting assaulted but that does not mean we should be, an assault on a journalist is an assault on a journalist no matter their political leanings. (And let's not assume that just because he worked for KSTP he was a right-wing hack, I have met at least one camera person who works for KSTP who is an excellent journalist that treats our side very fairly. Just because the station is owned by right-wingers and has a strong right-wing slant does not mean all their journalists are right-wing).
