If you are outmatched in every possible way with no actual plan for winning, it's probably not a good idea to lob rockets into the territory of one of the most powerful armies in the world. This is especially true if you are going to be lobbing these rockets from densely packed population centers.

Just a few weeks ago they were claiming how those rockets threatened Israel's very existence. Even now, they want Hamas exterminated because they are such a big threat - "they want to kill all the Jews!".
