What is wrong with this list of people -

Last week, the Obama Administration let out the dogs of war against the largest Medical Marijuana Clinic in the state of California. the state of California has had a decent medical marijuana policy for over ten years. (I think it goes back to 1997.)

However, the DOJ, the IRS, and the DEA all went into Oakland last week and shut down the Oaksterdam facility. Among other matters, for the clinic to continue to operate, it could declare as tax deductions ONLY the cost of the product,t hat is, the medical marijuana itself. The business could not deduct normal business expenses such as rent, depreciation or cost of office equipment, utilities or even employee deductions.

But here is the real kicker - this comprehensive list of people who have all admitted to smoking the ganga including current day Presidential candidates. And some people who are assumed to have been smokers.

Presidential Candidates Formerly Known As Pot Smokers

Barack Obama

Newt Gingrich

Rick Santorum

Presidents Formerly Known As Pot Smokers

George W. Bush

Bill Clinton

Andrew Jackson

Thomas Jefferson

John F. Kennedy

Abraham Lincoln

James Madison

James Monroe

Franklin Pierce

Zachary Taylor

George Washington

It's what those people are now doing about medical marijuana that is wrong.

Obama's current stand on the issue really gets me angry. How could he?

Administration's (former) decision to uphold Obama's campaign promise to respect the states where the voters had legalized marijuana.

Now this new attack! And people are outraged.

You are right: How could he?

Nice list. Curious they're all "Former" pot users. It's understandable with the deceased, but the living?

What will it take to get "Non Former" pot smokers in every elected position?

...for those candidates who were elected (or selected as in the case of gwb). Each of them had to be a candidate before being elected. Therefore, every president "formerly known" as a pot smoker should also be on the candidate list, as well. Otherwise it doesn't make sense.

What exactly is a "pot smoker"? If I have one sip of booze, as I did the day after my 50th birthday (for medical reasons, yeah, that's the ticket (seriously)) does that now make me a "former alcoholic"?

I sorta think you have to have more than half a doobie to really be considered a pot smoker.

and Obama is failing VERY badly at it, and should have written an EO directing DOJ to cease and desist the raids and respect Amendment 10.
