And this is the image of the elite, Northeastern, rich guy who looks and acts just like Kerry. Did Romney deserve a much needed break this weekend? Yes. Does Romney's Easter weekend photo reassure his already mistrusting conservative base?

Growing up we were not allowed to Simon Sundays because the devil has dominion over the waters. Missionaries are also not alowed to Simon Sunday's. (there is some debate over it but regardless every Mormon who sees his picture is going to wonder why he's swimmingon a Sunday).

Growing up we had some mormon kids on a baseball team, they couldn't make Sunday games because they would stay at home with the family. I remember BYU was in line for a bowl game that was to be played on Sunday and they said they wouldn't be able to play if invited.

18. Not sure I'd call this a mistake. Actually, I think it's smart marketing -

- as a huge portion of American's have boogie boarded or done something similar on a public beach. Like it or not, Romney looks okay - trim and healthy. Other people are in the background, it looks like he's just an Average Joe on a public beach enjoying the day with his son.

IMO, this pic will work for him - not against him.

24. This article seems misleading to me

I know I will get crap for this, but this is a poor article altogether IMO. It basically implies that Romney didn't go to church on Easter, when he most likely did. It is taking one photo taken of both people at far different times and saying, "Look Obama is like you and went to church, while that heathen Romney went surfing". I am not saying Romney is good, but please leave this stuff to FN.
