Now I Have Heard It All - Contraception Gateway To Sex

I appears that there is a bill in Tennessee to teach abstinence only when many in the targeted age group are already involved. They hold the idea that contraceptive practices are a "gateway to sex". Probably like marijuana is a gateway to hard drugs. So I guess the police will be seizing birth control pills and other devices. Can we get any more stupid in the 21st century. The rest of the world must think we are just plain nuts.

the US is nuts or not. This is a country that is woefully lacking in preparing itself for the 21st century IMO. These RW politicians make this country look and sound like a bunch of backward fools.

This is so true. And so sad. I just don't see us coming back from this.

would think. And when you tally up all the other stuff lacking, we are backsliding fast IMO. Meanwhile, the MIC and their buddies are profiting handsomely, for example.

What I've seen developing over the past few decades IMO is a country with very very twisted priorities.

If we ever do come back from this it's going to take years and years.

Pre-WWII the US was a rather lackluster place in comparison to post-WWII. That, accelerated us forward nicely, but IMO what we did have has been severely squandered by greed and the worst side of capitalism. Also, post-WWII the US had very little world competition. Now, the tables have turned. It will be quite an uphill battle.

Many other countries are willing and able to take the lead relegating the US to a backseat role.

except the worship of money and making money, which makes our current state of affairs doubly sad. Shallow and broke. Yep. Lackluster is where we are heading.

of money. That's all we really hear about anymore. It's absolutely pathetic. We don't even have a country anymore, it's become a boiler room operation for outrageous greed.

if we were really money grubbers, we'd be talking about how to make a reality show out of this idea.

With Donald Trump in it.

forced into prostitution by a lack of social services and opportunity because of unwanted pregnancy.

When any man says "I'm pro-life" what he really means is that women with no other road will take money for sex. He's PRO-PROSTITUTION, not life.

You can tell because he does nothing for the children that are born because of his restrictions on women's rights. He will not feed, clothe, or educate a one of them.

they were giving talks at the schools. Before they could start they had to have a meeting with the school board to outline the rules they had to follow.
When my mother was told she couldn't use the word "condom" she asked why not.
The school board president told her because it would "Give them ideas" about sex.
My mother's response was "Since Marion county is Number One in the state in the teen pregnancy rate in the 14 and under category, I'd say they are already HAVING sex"
It did not go over well with the idiot.

they would pop into a fourth dimension. Where, with any luck, they would be assimilated by the Borg, thus increasing their miniscule IQs.
