Thanks to Bush, Obama has more justification to invade Iraq than Bush ever did...

I don't think he will, and I absolutely don't think he should, but on merits alone, the mess created by Bush, ironically, has given the United States more justification to pursue an invasion.

What a cluster fuck of a mess.

. . . like ISIS.

Bush's own intelligence agencies collectively concluded that the invasion and occupation created more insurgents and terrorists than we were able to put down with our military.

There's nothing at all to suggest that the equation is any different now.

In fact, Bush's invasion's spawn, ISIS, may well be a threat to the Maliki regime, but they're also an enemy to Syria, who the US has been intent on keeping out of Northern Iraq, even in their own country's defense. In recent weeks, the Syrians have successfully struck out at ISIS combatants.

How much of a problem would ISIS be now if the US hadn't sat back and let ISIS aggravate and attack Syria? Did our opposition to Syria keep them from protecting Northern Iraq's citizens against ISIS earlier?
