Question for DUers - that Andrea Mitchell lean forward promo

Why does she say parties when discussing attempts to suppress voting. Only ReTHUGS are involved in this criminality. She appears to be leaning to the right.

Mitchell doesn't have to lean very far to be a RWer in my opinion. She very easily mouths the RW meme. (*Both* parties in the do-nothing Congress is another one.)

...but now view it as a general observation, not indicative of an attempt at false balance (i.e., any variation on "both parties do it&quot or slant.

She gets her licks in on the democrats every time she gets a chance...always has! And she looks like Joe Camel when she does it.

...then she'd be "shrill" and "partisan" and develop a bad odor among the Washington Insider club.

The lazy cynicism that "both sides do it" lets Washington media figures pretend they are being objective, and that they're just counteracting "liberal media bias". And it lets them not offend their pals -- don't want to have to make excuses when you see them at next Thursday's dinner party.

One of the reasons for pointing out who Mitchell is married to is to underscore the social interconnection between political and media figures. It fosters that "Villager" group-think that reinforces this sort of bad reporting.
