Darby saw the invention of the telegraph as a sign that the end of the world was approaching; he called the telegraph an invention of Cain and a harbinger of Armageddon.[5]

They sure don't seem to follow Jesus Christ's teachings.

What these parents did is child abuse.

and if I told my wife I wasn't going to mow this afternoon like she suggested I do, well I won't take a chance on what would happen if I did that

Caramelized Stranded bamboo is some pretty flooring but a biotch to install. My knees will never be the same, ever.

and should be addressed as a mental illness.

Remember those Heaven's Gate people, all they did was decide they didn't want to wait for the end. They hopped aboard the spaceship. We all agree they were nuts... How far are these Rapture Ready types from doing this? Shouldn't this be treated as an illness and not just a casual belief?

The guys cut their nuts off. They thought the Mother Ship was in the trail of the comet. The next week, SNL did a spot about them,
showing their leader on the Mother Ship, saying, "Yeah we were right about this, right about everything except that castration thing."

Now I live in a pig sty.
But I got it all figured out...God delayed the rapture just to teach me a lesson, and I am still trying to figure out what that lesson might be.

by my fundie brother and Wisconsin Synod Lutheran in-laws that I will most definitely not be among the raptured, so I must keep plugging along.

On the other hand, there might be some good stuff up for grabs when they all go!

And, all the really obnoxious people will be gone, given those I know who believe they will ascend into the sky!
