Fox's Chris Wallace feels sorry for David Gregory....

I have little sympathy for Gregory....I have despised him since his dance with Rove.

snip....

"Fox News Sunday's Chris Wallace derided NBC's “lousy” treatment of “Meet the Press” host David Gregory, saying the network is leaving him “twisting in the wind” by not being clear about his job security.

Gregory has suffered rampant speculation that he may be on his way out. A recent Daily Beast column questioned whether NBC offered a strong enough denial of a report by the New York Post's Page Six that Gregory's days are numbered.

Wallace, a former moderator of “Meet the Press,” said NBC was mistreating his fellow Sunday morning show host.

“We all understand we don't have a right to these jobs,” Wallace said on Fox News’ “MediaBuzz” Sunday. “It's a tremendous privilege. On the other hand I think we do have a right to be treated properly and not shabbily. And if you're going to get rid of David Gregory — and I don't know that they are, I have no inside information — then they oughta just do it.”

3. Ratings are a huge hint to anyone who works in television. So, how have MTP's

ratings been since Gregory took over the host's seat?

And we all know that networks seldom make announcements that a show's "star" will be fired unless it is good and ready to replace the celebrity.

So, why is Wallace pretending that Gregory is clueless and NBC is being it's inhuman not to make an announcement until it's good and ready so to do? For that matter, how does Wallace know NBC and Gregory have not had a private chat about Gregory's future on the show?

Something about this seems off.

Gregory will soon be joining you a Fox, where all the right wing hacks eventually show up.

11. Why doesn't MSNBC just make John McCain the host of Meet The Press?

He could just interview himself every week. Might be cost-effective.
