My favorites are the family values crowd. Asking them what family values they have that you lack (according to them) is a sure route to a blank look while a wisp of smoke curls out of an ear.
Their dodge with Obama is saying things like "dereliction of duty." I tell them that's the name of the charge, not the crime and ask them how Obama neglected the duties of a president. Then I chuckle as they splutter out insults and walk away twirling my index finger next to my temple.

(38,613 posts)He asked them specifically what Obama should be doing but isn't. Their answers were all bullshit catch-phrases like "it's about leadership" but they could offer no substance at all. This wasn't even about a specific topic, just "what should he be doing?" in general.
Slogans are all they have.

(111,230 posts)watching those cocksure assholes with looks of sheer panic as they rummaged for ways to deflect the question so they wouldn't look as ignorant as they are.
The trouble with that is that they are ignorant and it shows even to their even more ignorant fan base. I wish mainstream news people would ask those questions but they're too busy shoving their noses up corporate ass.
