Democrat Youth Wing Fires Members Who Criticized Israel's Child Killings

The College Democrats of America (CDA), the youth wing of the Democratic National Committee, forced two of its members to resign from leadership positions following a right-wing smear campaign last week.

They were branded anti-Semites after expressing anger at Israel’s assault on Gaza in a heated social media exchange.

Christopher Woodside, a twenty-year-old student at Catholic University of America, says he was fired 6 August from his position as Communications Director with the DC Federation for College Democrats, CDA’s Washington DC branch.

Woodside told The Electronic Intifada he was “told we would never receive donations because I made the organization seem radical.” He added, “while I was officially asked to resign by the state level at DC College Dems, it was highly suggested their request for me to leave was from being pressured at the national college Dems level.”

I am really angry at Israel. This after a life time of being pro-Israel. No more. I am not anti-semite, but I am hugely and loudly anti killing people indiscriminately. So close the tunnels on your side of the border Israel. ha ha Not about tunnels is it. Nope. You want to kill people. Hamas is nasty and I am not supporting them. And, there has to be a way to establish secure borders and open borders without wholesale slaughter. Dare ya!!

the Democratic Party is doing a bang-up job of telling Progressives and, really, anyone with a conscience, that the Party doesn't want them.

Sooner or later Progressives will listen and vote accordingly.

I would never vote for someone or choose to have someone represent me in any way that had those sorts of opinions about Israel, so I can't blame the folks that were offended.
