Another staunch liberal icon whose elderly....

It's all too sad.

Micheal Brown's death as a "message" along with these particular two however is extremely poignant

And probably the greatest episode of that program, Harlan Ellison's Demon with a Glass Hand.

Starring Robert Culp, Arlene Martel, and the iconic Bradbury Building (which has been featured in many films):

Here it is:
?itok=B4eBY2vB

And here's Martel with Culp:

The intro to the program:

"Through all the legends of ancient peoples — Assyrian, Babylonian, Sumerian, Semitic — runs the saga of the Eternal Man, the one who never dies, called by various names in various times, but historically known as Gilgamesh, the man who has never tasted death ... the hero who strides through the centuries ..."

Here is the entire episode (Hulu):

BTW, this is a real gem. Well worth a look. One of the best SciFi episodes ever on TV.

And she coulda had Spock... Shit - it was all arranged and everything...

"Amok Time" is one of my favorite Original Series episodes (along with "The Trouble with Tribbles" and "The Enterprise Incident," of course). She's gone too? Beautiful woman.

Wow - this IS a shitty week...

Once you reach three, you start counting again.
People die every day, in random groupings.
It's a silly myth that has it's roots in the holy trinity to give more credence to a religious concept.
No reflection on reality.

The potential problems are dehydration and temporary organ failure, he's ist in the ER now where I trust that they'll catch and handle either of those two.

He got a prescription yesterday for a pretty serious drug and the dosage on the label was for about 10x the maximum allowable daily dosage for any human being, and probably 20x for him. Fortunately he felt like he was about to take The Dirt Nap after only half a day's dosage and stopped.

Sure death comes in threes.

If you wait long enough. Or if you count minor celebrities.

Or if you ignore when 4 or 5 people die within a short period.
