Radio host arrested after police say he shot wife in head, leg, stomach & neck outside SW Ohio home

MADEIRA, Ohio - An Ohio radio talk show host was arrested and charged with shooting his wife Tuesday, hours after he told police the incident was an accident.

Police said Blake Seylhouwer, a host on 55KRC Radio "THE Talk Station in Cincinnati," waited until his wife Misty Seylhouwer turned her back before he purposely fired a shot in her direction in their driveway around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The bullet ricocheted off the ground and struck his wife in the head, leg, stomach and neck, according to Madeira Police Chief Frank Maupin.

Investigators said they initially treated the incident as an accidental shooting and did not charge Blake. It was later determined an argument took place between the couple before the shooting.
