That said, this information makes the police explanation of the events (supposing their half-assed and non-transparent description rises to the level of an "explanation&quot all the more implausible. This young man, with no priors whatsoever, heading to his grandmother's house, decides to reach into a cop's car to steal the officer's weapon, presumably to use it on the officer?

Do people even realize how fucking ridiculous that sounds, how fucking far it is from basic lived reality? It's like saying a seven year old girl orchestrated a jewelry heist. That's how ridiculous it is.
