Sadly there are cases like his more often than not. I remember a story of a couple of WWII pilots. Someone had located and restored their bomber they flew during the war and restored it. Those that restored it had found the pilots and invited them out for a flight. They met and flew out of a nothing airport. They were taking photos of themselves and the plane when the police swarmed in and arrested the photographer. They made a huge deal out of it. Swat gear, machine guns, etc... Apparently after 9/11, taking photographs at an airport = cavity search. The pilots made similar comments as your lover boy.
Don't forget the Marine during Occupy...
Truly sad.

The story about the pilots you shared is also quite sad.
People are being killed by those who should be protecting them. It's madness and if this doesn't stop it can only end in disaster.
