This is polarizing! This is indeed a war, when this is allowed....

Something is VERY wrong in America when a white man aiming down on police gets a pass and nothing happens but an unarmed black kid walking down the street is shot 10 times.




Young black boys can’t even walk down the street or it could be a death sentence. How do we protect our kids from racists police and vigilantes? Marching isn’t working.

I said I thought all the police should be taught how to obey the law in a nice upstate prison. The woman who lived in the town took me to task - she said " you have to threat those thugs that way, you can't let them ruin your town - and there by is the root of the problem, Oh and her husband was an ex-cop.

Some say they'll side with police; they say they will defend the rights of those oppressed by government tyranny, and all. And some on DU are wondering why they don't join up with blacks, as if they have a say in the matter. This whole affair has thrown a huge short circuit into the ranks of our "peaceful" gun-controllers. It would be amusing if it weren't so pitifully dangerous.

I favor letting the people in that community decide their self-defense policy without the "benefit" of my white gun-toting ass in the mix. Malcolm X was right. Some white liberals would do well to remember this.

I saw Rachel's show on the 14 years of racially profiling in Ferguson, MO last night.. and the city has well documented proof on how racialyl biased the cops are and how they treat its Black Citizens. They just haven't done anything the hell about it.

And, now Michael Brown being senselessly gunned down in the street by a cop. Unfathomable!

reprimand someone for taking a photo? In America, land of the free?

And taking a photo is giving the police "attitude," even though I am fairly certain they've been informed of court decisions that say it's a Constitutional right?

It will be very telling if the cop who called demonstrators "animals" is not even reprimanded. I am not for cruelty to any species, but looking at the people who pay your salary, the ones you are supposed to protect, as animals makes shooting them that much easier, doesn't it?

7. My thoughts go out to the family & friends of Mike Brown, and the people of Ferguson.

Yes, indeed, it's time to finally eliminate societal double standards, police corruption & incompetence, etc. No more letting guys like Cliven Bundy wave their guns at cops while unarmed ordinary citizens like Mr. Brown are gunned down simply because some paranoid cop couldn't keep his finger off the damn trigger.

9. Animals? Yes, the police

I've been watching MSNBC live coverage tonight and I couldn't believe what was happening! The police roughed up two journalists - sitting in a McDonald's and arrested them and shot tear gas at another group of journalists. Shot teargas into the front yards of homes and used rubber bullets (which CAN kill a person) and stun grenades. Sat on top of their military vehicles with rifles POINTED at the civilians. And just where did this small town of 60,000 get all of that expensive military equipment!? And WHO were they planning to use it on? I don't think this bunch of 'white racist chicken" police force knows what it's started. And they have.

This attitude is exactly why that young black man was shot. And they DO think they're going to get away with it. They think they're going to 'cover it up'. Not happening. Several witnesses have come forward testifying that they saw the young man shot in the back and then turn, with his hands up...and the police officer shot him down in cold blood. My God. WE have to do something and we have to do it NOW. This line of 80 all white officers might as well have been wearing WHITE HOODS!

This is terrorism. WHERE is our government? President Obama where are you? We need you now. This is going to get out of hand....

Keeping in mind there is no curfew in place.
