By AHIZA GARCIA Published AUGUST 14, 2014, 2:12 PM EDT
Fox News host Martha MacCallum expressed concerns on Wednesday night about whether the New Black Panther Party had a role in the escalating conflict in Ferguson, Mo.
"The FBI is now issuing an alert saying that at least one member of the New Black Panther Party is on the ground in this town outside of St. Louis and that he is very vociferously advocating violence against the police there," MacCallum said while hosting Wednesday's episode of "The Kelly File."
The black panther group has been a major topic at Fox News over the years, and particularly with the host that MacCallum was sitting in for, Megyn Kelly. The website Media Matters in 2010 counted 45 segments about the New Black Panther Party that Kelly's show ran in just two weeks.
On Wednesday night, correspondent Mike Tobin said that Fox's "local affiliate is confirming the presence of some of these New Black Panther Party members."

(37,748 posts)One wonders if that same host illustrated the same concern when the Bundy Ranch Militia advocated the same... while armed, publicly, on national television.
