I read a comment on FB (related to this image and story) ... "Its not a black/ white problem .... its an abuse of power problem"

I am fully aware that racism led to this ... but , I am very heartened by the response of many, many white folk that are completely outraged by the murder (by the police) of this young man. I (mercifully, am not hearing all that much support of the police ... just disgust and outrage.

Yes there are the bigots, the morons and the low life racist scum ... but (to me) they are far outnumbered by those supporting the murdered young man, his family and his community!

For my entire life I've seen authoritarian forces in this country try to divide us based on race, ethnicity, culture, religion, etc. And I think we've finally had enough of it, especially the younger people.

all manner of positions necessary within the force......have been armed the way I saw last night.....I nearly spewwed my soft drink...

Denver police have a history and the Denver Sheriffs Dept is under investigation now and just paid out a $3+ million settlement.

People have had enough! The crowd in Denver was very diverse also.
