Why do the dates on Brown robbery stills say June 9, 2014? and not the day Brown was shot?

The cameras are there for the most basic of recording. No sound. Mostly as a deterrent more than anything.

When I lived in an apartment in Richmond the corner store didn't even have recording equipment but the owner did have a camera by the register. He hadn't gotten robbed since he put it there.

establishing credibility by calling a press conference, and:

1) Disavowing the "robbery angle";

2) Announcing that the Officer, and everyone with knowledge that this "angle" was to be used, has been fired, if not, arrested for conspiring to impede the investigation, and/or cover up what appears to be a wrongful action.

I was incorrect about that. I'm hopeful a thorough investigation clarifies all of this. Clearly the shooting of this young man was in no way justified, so the investigation is absolutely needed.

CNN has been saying it was a box. So what DID happen to them? They clearly weren't anywhere around the body. And he very well could not have stuffed a box down his pants, or hid it under his shirt, and backed away with his hands in the air. So...where's the Swishers?

If the cops are so sure that he did DID take them, why don't they at least produce some kind of proof from the scene that they were there?

Ferguson PD stepped in it big time today. They've just raised more questions that won't be so easy to dance around going forward, and whatever goodwill was created by bringing in the state PD could be gone by tonight. This is a blatant attempt to bring this all back on Brown.

However - the date stamp looks boogered with...I can understand the grainy video - but shouldnt the overlayed time stamp be quite clear...??

29. Some security cams can be extremely unreliable with time stamps.

I worked at a place that had one and the time format was always screwed up. It was 12/31/2005 for the longest time, or some such. It got to be a joke, and was rarely any good at what it was supposed to do. And this was supposedly a state-of-the-art system.

Michael's friend and eyewitness to murder told FBI he did take cigars packs that could fit in you pocket but denied it was strong armed
robbery.

The video stills they brought out may not even be from day of robbery and killing.A good defense lawyer would have field day with
different date on video.

Why did it take so long to bring up robbery and video stills?

Right now all Michael was guilty of Is shoplifting.The altercation on video may be from other day entirely.And if video Is from other time
that pokes holes in claims.

If shoplifting Is punishable by execution a lot of people Including me would be dead.
