But while we are on that subject, what are the odds that the jury will convict. They usually do not. Is that a fair trial?

It will probably either be a federal trial or no trial.

I am not sure what the OP's point is and was trying to pinpoint it.

I was just debating with someone who seemed to think that Wilson's constitutional right to a fair trial means DUers have to STFU about him until his trial is over. I was trying to find out if that is the meaning of the OP and, if not, what does it mean?

Or is it simply informing us that the OP is for truth, justice and the American way and not in opposition to the Bill of Rights?

(Yes, before you ask: my question to the OP certainly could have been a lot more direct.)

Our justice system is based on capitalism, so the results are largely based on how much money you can spend on your defense. The more money, the better the layers, the better things will turn out for you. That is not a fair trial.
