The 11:51 time is an approximate time given by the first officer; 11:53 is the surv. system time alcibiades_mystery Aug 2014 #4

All I can think of are things like clocks on VCRs and ovens that are never kept current. Hell, to this day my parents set ALL of their clocks several minutes ahead for some reason.

Neither of these is particularly definitive.

It doesn't even match the first officer on scene's logs, which have the dispatch time as 11:45, and the arrival on scene time as 11:48. In any case, the video in the store is hardly a definitive timestamp source. That would require that we know the owners of the system keep it synched, which is unlikely. Far more persuasive is the timestamped logs, because those were filled in on the officer's onboard computers in their cruisers. That has the dispatch go out, again, at 11:45, and the officer arriving on the scene at 11:48. Those are probably accurate times.

... not necessarily specific to this scenario, under which a person may reasonably be in fear for their life from a person who doesn't have a gun?

It is difficult to discern fact from rhetoric in such an emotionally charged situation....

That wasn't really the question though.

How could that cop fear for his life in that instance? How is that not outright murder?

But it doesnt take sherlock homes to realize its him. Unless he has a twin brother wearing the same clothes that day.

Did the find the Red Cap and cigars?

They were walking in the middle of the road and interrupting traffic after leaving the store?

Do you happen to remember where you read that his friend said it was them? I haven't heard it on tv or seen it in any article.
