But the one report I bothered to read has it that Brown was shot in the head and the bullet exited by his right eye ... and yet the report indicates (the media's conclusion) that the shots came from the front.

I'm no pathologist; but I have a passing familiarity with the human anatomy ... and that familiarity suggests that the eyes are in the front of the body, so how could the shot have exited the eye, if the shot came from the front?

that they were looking at the size of the wounds as part of determining the entry and exit wounds. If Brown had his head tilted down, it makes more sense that the entry wound would be from the top of the head. What we don't know is how close the cop was when he fired the killing shot. If Brown had has head tilted downward (in an attempt to get the cop to stop shooting) and the cop was approaching him as he started to do down, perhaps it is possible to get a shot from the back of the head even though they were both facing each other. To me it really makes a case of execution by cop.
