the little town up the road from us got their tank a few weeks ago. About the same size as Ferguson.

not necessarily protesters. certainly not legitimate demonstrators

but shots did not come from police according to tim

and somewhere else toward the police. I didn't hear him say the protestors fired the bullets.

The protestors had set up cones in the street (after being told to stay out of the street), and had assembled behind the cones - peacefully, with arms up chanting "Arms up, don't shoot."

There were bottles thrown - it is unclear whether there were any shots fired before the tear gas - but if so, they did not appear to have come from those assembled peacefully in the street.

After multiple rounds of tear gas, lots of rounds of live fire - per the reporter - heading toward the police, but the source was unclear.
