Why have we not heard from the store owner?

Two things he could clear up: was the person in that video a "strong-arm robber", and can he identify the person in that video as being Michael Brown? Mike lived in the area, probably was not the first time he was in the store, if it is him in the video.

some people would believe him, others would call him a bald faced liar. It would be a lot of aggravation that settles absolutely nothing.

I did read here somewhere that the store denied calling the police and said a customer did it.

He did not call the police, did not want the police involved, and only turned over the surveillance tape when a warrant forced him to.

When the Ferguson police department released the name of Darren Wilson, they also chose to release video footage which they claimed was of Michael Brown robbing a convenience store for some cigars.

The problem is, the video shows Michael Brown at the register, paying for the cigars.

Whatever words were exchanged between the man in the video and the store owner, they were not considered very serious, as the store owner nor the employees did not report a theft at the store. According to the stores attorney, the owners were bewildered when the police approached them demanding the surveillance tapes.

9. Nowhere in that article does it say

what the other article says, that "the video shows him paying for the cigars." Every other article I've read says "alleged strong-arm robbery" or "theft" or "crime". Did the cops ask the store owner what happened? Or did they just seize the tape?

I'm neither a cop or reporter. I'm a graphic artist.

But, I found that article with little effort. Maybe you can find the info you're asking for by doing a Google search. FWIW, the investigation isn't complete. There will be conflicting reports for awhile.

12. I just find it odd that the part of the video that was

released only shows what appears to be a scuffle and leaves off the part where it looks like he's paying for the cigars. I'm going to look and see if there are any other articles that have a link to the full video. Thanks for your efforts.

14. we HAVE heard from the STore Owner, he said what happened with the shooting had nothing

to do with what happened in the store. he says he did not call the cops. they say it was some customer that called the cops.
