Is 'inactive' the new 'black'?

Another GOP attempt to keep people from the polls is going on in Indiana, and this time it could affect nearly 700,00 voters. Indianas Secretary of State Connie Lawson is marking anyone that doesnt return her postcards inactive. Better hope you dont miss yours.
Lawson claims the new program is to restore integrity and identify invalid voters. What it seems more like is another attempt to keep potential voters from voting. The most recent round of mailings sent out 750,000 postcards, with 4.4 million sent back in May.
Voters were marked inactive if the cards were returned as undeliverable or were just simply not returned at all. About 696,000 voters have now been marked as invalid. Inactive voters that manage to vote before the 2016 election will be made active again, but anyone that shows up in 2016 that missed their postcard and didnt happen to know about the program will be out of luck.
Not content with just cracking down on non-existent voter fraud, Republicans are now simply trying to erase legitimate voters from the lists. This is clearly just another voter suppression tactic by the Right. Voters across the country need to wise up to these dirty tactics and kick criminals like Connie Lawson out of office before its too late.

And that helped pave the way for Bush to steal the Y2K selection.

Just needs to keep enough people home in Nov., it will accomplish that. After the election the state will say 'oops, sorry' and move on, combortable with the fact that the republicans have control for another cycle.
Legality's got nothing to do with it. They alredy know that.

Fellow Indiana residents (I refuse to use that bloody silly redneck term for the same) who wish to check their status can follow this link.
