Uh oh,Travelodge(UK)Has Made A Decision To Remove Bibles, That Could Really Upset Christians!

The Church of England said in a statement that "both tragic and bizarre that hotels would remove the word of God for the sake of ergonomic design, economic incentive or a spurious definition of the word 'diversity'."

Most of the "Christians" here in the UK are Christians the same way people who go to Mass at Easter and Christmas are Catholic; they'll see the inside of a church three times in their lives...when they're christened, when they're married, and when they die. American-style religious nutters are a very small minority, here.

Here's one: https://www.biblegateway.com/ You can look up any passage you want, any version you want.

I bet they don't have phone books in the room either. Because 2014.

The book, not the musical.

I try to remember to get one every time I am at a Marriott.

Mostly in the US, but a few times a year in other places, including the UK once in awhile. I had no idea there were still bibles in the rooms. All I ever look for is the room service menu and the WiFi code. If they hadn't mentioned they were going to remove them would anyone have noticed? I seriously doubt it.
