Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsCNN has been working overtime to discredit any and all witness accounts of Mike Brown shooting.
All day yesterday and so far all day today and I'm about to throw shit at the goddamn TV.
WHY? What is in it for CNN to engage in this relentless campaign against the witnesses. This is why others will not come forward.
SMDH!
When will I learn???

(297,154 posts)#ItsBiggerThanYou: Atlanta protesters challenge CNNs Michael Brown reporting
Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the CNN center in Atlanta on Monday to march in memory of unarmed Missouri teenager Michael Brown who was gunned down by a police officer, many in protest of CNNs controversial coverage of the incident.
Demonstrators who had been urged to attend dressed in their Sundays best marched under the slogan: How good must we look to be considered innocent? and used the #ItsBiggerThanYou hashtag.
The protest was staged in response to CNNs Ferguson protests coverage, which had a strong emphasis on past actions by Brown which may have incriminated him. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, as many as 1,000 protesters marched.
More to the story..

"Participants and observers also took to Twitter to denounce CNNs lack of coverage of a protest directly outside its offices."

And during all that time I was watching CNN, that was going on? Funny, I didn't see any reports from CNN about the protest outside their front door while they were busily reporting on the protests in Ferguson. Go figure, eh?
I knew I was not imagining CNN's character assassination of everyone except Wilson.
I hope it continues.

(65,616 posts)CNN is a horrible station with the same neocon agenda as Foxnews. If people only knew how little these infortainment corporations care about them as individuals...it is sad.
Poor minorities are treated like enemy-combatants. CNN will social engineer that all day long to keep people stupid and glued to their channel. Foxnews is shameless at it.

(9,463 posts)that, when taken as a whole, one would (hopefully to CNN) would question all witness accounts that go against the officer. So, if Dorian Johnson is questionable, perhaps they are all quetionable.

(63,203 posts)Sadly, it takes a story like this for them to demonstrate how horrible they really are.
As for your viewing habits, I was asking the question as an expression of sympathy!

(63,203 posts)Can you believe it? I know people who still refer to it as the "Clinton News Network" because of its allegedly favorable, allegedly pro-Democrat reportage. Bah!

(359 posts)Elders have tales of "The before time". They would often tell tales of when CNN would stand up to the right wing and provide true journalism. But I think it is just the old age and to much peyote talking. lol
