Citizens' oversight is a necessity

May be I am just dreaming. I support the "move to amend" group, which concerns the Citizens United decision, but I want more.

During the last 6-10 years the police have become too powerful and they are supposed to control themselves (internal investigations). This appears at every level:NSA, FBI, state and local police. I for one don't trust these investigations, just as I don't trust the banks to control themselves.

There should be an amendment that states that EVERY executive branch (local, state, or federal) needs to have an elected oversight committee of civilians. This still may result in corruption, but far less so than what we have now.

At least that is my wishful thinking.
