I like that site, it also had a "40 maps that describe WWI" at the bottom of the page, that looked interesting, I will check it out at a later time.

Please consider cross-posting this topic in the World History group. Even a great thread will disappear after a few days in GD but in World History it will be around for awhile. That way people who find it as cool as I do have a better choice of stumbling across it...

The Roman Empire is one of my main fascinations about history in general so its right up my alley.

Also went thru the 40 maps explaining about the middle east. Again. Fascinating.
