Hillary is Inevitable!!1!

Here is an interesting Democratic Presidential race poll from June 2006. Note the relative positions of Hillary and Obama.

Oops--Trouble finding Obama?

BTW, in the Republican poll taken at the same time, Giuliani led McCain 29-24.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Personal attack.

Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Since the post implies that someone who does not like Hilary and/or her policies is not a true democrat, I vote to block it.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: How is this a personal attack? It's actually helpful. Seems to be a lot of DUers saying they won't vote for her if she is the Democratic nominee. Hopefully, they can all follow this friendly advice and vote Green and help a Republican become president and fuck this country like Dubya did. Cuz, Hilary is to the right of Rand Paul, right? LOL.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: This response is far less rude than the comment that prompted this reply.

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

I am on record many times explaining my past with the Clintons and my support of them, right up until the IWR vote. No one that voted for that war will ever get my vote for president (ETA: unless they are the nominee). I supported Hillary Clinton for NY Senate, BEFORE her IRW vote. I've also said, many times, that if she is our nominee, I will vote for her to keep an R out of office.

I've been a been a Democrat for 40 years. You're a johnny-come-lately to this board and you don't get to come in here and tell me whether or not I'm a Democrat or not just because I don't like your chickenhawk, war voting "democrat". Hahahahahahaha! Please! Your opinion of whether or not I'm a Democrat doesn't matter. I was on Bill and Hillary Clinton's team in Arkansas in 1982 as a member of YDA. I supported Bill Clinton as a citizen of Arkansas and I voted for him twice as president. I supported Hillary Clinton financially for NY Senate. I always liked Hillary as a person. But, the moment she voted to go into Iraq, she lost me. And, she is a corporate/Wall Street/MIC stooge. It's that fucking simple and I don't give a shit whether you like it or not and you can throw all the fits and insults you want, it ain't going to change what she has done.

I have news for you, your candidate is republican-lite, has already lost one primary for president, has lost several DU polls, and enjoys only a minority of support here and Reagan Democrats outside of DU and your opinions about whether or not she should be president do not matter here. And now I will gain some satisfaction in canceling out your vote for her in the primary.

I'll tell you what. I didn't even consider Mike Gravel a DINO.

In fact, not a single candidate in the field was a "DINO" in 2008. Every last one of them were all good Democrats. I'm not really into Gravel or Kucinich, but both were good Democrats in 2008 and Kucinich remains a good Democrat.

There's only been one candidate in any primary for the Democratic nomination that is a DINO.

Lyndon LaRouche.

That is who you should judge all DINOs by. He's the only one I've ever seen.

Why are Clintonites scared shitless? She'll crush all Dems, right? And if she doesn't win the primary, Dems have rejected her and believe another candidate can beat one of the 3 stooges.

Any time she clears her throat, the right can't help but get in a lather and shoot their rhetorical and financial load.

The war was, though. By the time of the WI Primary, there were only the two still standing, even though neither was anywhere near my first choice, and there was no point in voting for anyone else. I thought Obama was slightly to the left of Hill, so I went that way. Personally, I was not particularly interested in Teddy's opinion on the matter.

The scream scene was shown an estimated 633 times by cable and broadcast news networks in just four days following the incident, a number that does not include talk shows and local news broadcasts. However, those who were in the actual audience that day insist that they were not aware of the infamous "scream" until they returned to their hotel rooms and saw it on TV.

37. This poll proves Hillary was not inevitable.
Sun Aug 24, 2014, 04:01 PM
Aug 2014

She was well under 50%, so, that meant a majority of the party wanted someone else.

The most recent FOX and CNN polls of the Democratic nomination has Clinton with 64% and 67% of support from Democrats - which indicates a huge majority support her. That's essentially a 30-point improvement over her 2006 numbers. In those numbers, as well, her lead over the other contenders was a distant 20 points. But now, her lead over Biden is 59 points. Warren 57 points. There is no relative comparison to those numbers and what she saw in 2006.

I've yet to see a poll from this election cycle that indicates Hillary's support is in trouble. If anything, it's the exact opposite of 2006 - as most, nearly 70%, of the party supports her candidacy. That wasn't even remotely the case in 2006. Her support then was the largest, to be sure, but tapped out well below 50%, which meant, as I said, a huge chunk of the party either supported someone else or weren't ready to support her.
