(23,720 posts)How is the word bacon offensive? I can understand someone not eating it for what ever reason they have. Personally I don't care for it. But to simply read the word and be hurt by it to the point you demand the word's removal, that's just controlling and manipulative.

(3,145 posts)Pork products are forbidden to me as well but I don't try and take down signs that have the word "bacon" on them.

a comment was made and a business voluntarily took down a sign... nothing to look at here
the people making this a big deal are haters IMHO

(2,273 posts)When I asked the person who worked there why they offered this they replied it was turkey bacon and sausage. So to the lady offended bacon does not always mean pork.
