ALS Ice Bucket Challenge: The Hypocrites Edition

Rep. Dingell calls out colleagues who supported ALS funding cuts for hypocritical ice bucketing
There are 16 members of Congress who have publicized their part in Ice Bucket Challenge - even though they voted to slash $1.55 billion from the budget for the National Institutes of Health.Rep. John Dingell poured cold water on his House colleagues who enthusiastically jumped on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, pointing out that many in Congress dousing themselves for charity actually voted against government funding for ALS research.
A little digging by the Huffington Post showed that 16 members of Congress who have publicized their part in the summer challenge were among those who voted to slash $1.55 billion in funding for the National Institutes of Health, in the Budget Control Act of 2011.
The group included nine Democrats and seven Republicans:
Reps. John Barrow (D-Ga.).
Timothy Bishop (D-N.Y.).
Robert Brady (D-Penn.).
John Carney (D-Del.).
David Cicilline (D-R.I.).
Jim Langevin (D-R.I.).
Jim Himes (D-Conn.).
Steve Israel (D-N.Y.).
Ed Perlmutter (D-Co.).
Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.).
Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.).
Frank LoBiondo (R-N.J.) - who didn't actually undergo an ice water bath but instead filmed himself with a check.
Lynn Jenkins (R-Kan.).
Tom Rooney (R-Fla.).
Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).
Erik Paulsen (R-Minn.).
