Fox News ‘Confused’ About How Beyonce Can Be Feminist When She Doesn’t Wear Pants

Fox News on Monday reported that it was “confusing” that Beyonce could call herself a feminist while she was wearing revealing clothes on stage. At the conclusion of Sunday night’s MTV Music Awards, Beyonce performed a 15-minute medley of her latest album. And at one point, the word “Feminist” flashed in large letters on a screen behind her.

Fox News reacted on Monday with an article titled “Beyonce’s feminist VMA message prompts some eye rolls.” The report asserted that the star “sent social media into a spin.” “Beyoncé’s silhouette stands tall as the word ‘Feminist’ lights up in large block letters, projected on the screen behind her,” FoxNews.com noted. “Cue the confusion.”

“The pop superstar combined certain moves with a certain message, leaving some viewers confused,” Fox411′s Ashley Dvorkin opined in a video review. “Her sexed up performance with scantily clad dancers featured the star at one point standing in front of giant screen that read ‘Feminist.’”

To back up the assertion, Fox quoted four twitter users. “Watching Beyonce slide down the stage with a big sign saying FEMINIST behind her just ended me. I am done. Goodbye,” one tweet said, according to the report. Other tweets quipped that it was “an excellent night for women not wearing pants,” and “enough with the squats and leg spreads.”

Sorry folks. and yea the fact that she walks around half naked has quite a bit to do with it. That blonde wig glued to her head also disqualifies her as a black feminist. I agree with Bell Hookes not Fix news. Beyonce is almost a terrorist against feminism. Pretty woman Big talent awful songs not a feminist

Lumping her in some category not of her own choosing based on how she is dressed is decidedly anti-feminist.
