Four North Carolina State University students are working to combat date rape by developing a nail polish that will change colors if it comes in contact with a drink that's been drugged, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
When Undercover Colors polish is released, its creators hope that anyone wearing the polish will swirl their finger in their drink before taking a sip. If a date rape drug is present, the polish will change colors and the wearer will know to discard the beverage.
As the product is still in its early stages of development, the team behind the project is seeking donations.

(14,521 posts)makers of date rape drugs will do is add an ingredient that will override the nail polish. Giving people a false sense of security.
How about teaching people not to drug and rape. How about taking rape seriously enough that rape kits are not sitting in evidence rooms, rotting.
