Rand Paul aside, why ...

Rand Paul aside, why aren't Democratic Party leaders seen as anti-war, anti-TPP and pro-legalization? Do they think these are poor positions? Do they think ceding these positions to the other side helps their chances of election?

I'll ask again....is the other side anti-war, anti-TPP and pro-legalization?

4. I didn't say that. But if the Democratic leadership doesn't take ownership of these positions ...

... then they've been ceded to whoever takes them.

My question stands: Why aren't Democratic Party leaders seen as anti-war, anti-TPP and pro-legalization?

Ask the right wing and Obama is a weak, pathetic leader on the international stage who doesn't use military force enough. Ask the far left and he's a war monger hell bent on destroying the globe while enriching the military industrial complex.

Ask the right wing and Obama is a communist-marxist-socialist-kenyan usurper hell bent on destroying capitalism in America. Ask the far left and Obama is a TPP-loving uber capitalist who wants to enrich the 1%.

I suppose it depends who you talk to....

And attacking Rand Paul won't make these questions go away.

I wonder why Democratic Party leaders are running away from such topics.
It seems many of them are anti-legalization, pro-war and for secret trade deals
but just don't want to tell their base.

If you don't like the TPP, are for legalization, and are anti-war, by the DU transitive property, you are eternally branded as a 'Rand Paul Lover'. Tough break.

And that's right where we part ways. He's right on those issues, so am I. My party might want to get on my side.

edited to remove the fuck Rand Paul part, because it's hard to say that to someone you agree with on those three issues. Now he want to start spouting his shit on womens issues, poverty and health care or if those issues are brought up I will happily say fuck him and his Daddy too.
