17 Days and Counting: Where's the Police Report?

It's been over 17 days and we still do not have a report from the Ferguson Police as to exactly why Officer Wilson shot Michael Brown. This is unheard of and completely unacceptable. The media should be demanding the resignation of the Chief.

Personally, I think the whole force should be disbanded. They are either incompetent or corrupt. Probably both.

the longer it takes just means that the fucking cops can't come up with a way that the murder of Michael Brown would look justified in most reasonable people's eyes.

and no amount of cop spin will make it one. You'd write more up arresting a drunk.

a lie that the investigation kept it a secret.

THE 'pHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT A cRIME' WEBSITE IS URGING EVERYONE WHO WISHES, TO EMAIL THE sT. lOUISE pd FOR THE REPORT.

But be advised that excuses are being used to deny the request.

audio tape that indicates 11 or so shots. If they say he fired 8 timesm, none while he was running away, and that tape proves true, they are screwed. Well not really, they have the prosecutor on their side and it's unlikely they'll find 12 jurors to convict -- if there is an indictment -- on a jury stacked with right wingers.

7. The cops had to know how many shots were fired.

There are shell casings? They don't roll that far away. I doubt any bystanders picked them up as souvenirs. If they can't count to 11, should they really be wearing a badge?

He had to fire most of his clip (assuming a 13 shot clip, one in the chamber). The first thing after a shooting, they take your weapon away. No ifs, ands, or buts.

real, does indicate shots where Brown might have been running away, like those before the pause in blasting away.

So far, they have released nothing formal except a bunch of crud about Brown. Their excuse is "it's an ongoing investigation."

either by the cop himself or his buddies at the scene. Cops have been known to doctor the aftermath of a shooting, including planting a throwdown gun on an unarmed victim. Ferguson Police seem to have kept informal practices and records (complaints against officers were never recorded unless a fatality occurred, for example). Darren Wilson and/or his buddies had no way of knowing this would become a national story garnering intense national scrutiny, IF they decided to get creative.
