Inspired by this thread concerning boycotting Burger King.
Want to know what other companies hurt your causes, and wish to not support them? Buycott them with this app available on Android (not sure if there's an iPhone equivalent). Or find companies who support causes you care about.
Buycott - Barscanner Vote
Buycott Barcode Scanner helps you vote with your wallet so you fund causes you care about and avoid funding those you disagree with.
Featured as ABC News & Salon.com app of the week. As seen on NBC, FOX, CNBC, MSNBC, and covered by Forbes and Huffington Post.

(7,309 posts)I had it on my other phone before it was stolen, and was only reminded now that the app exists.

(11,804 posts)But I would rather boycott a company because of the poor way they treat their employees, as opposed to them advertising on radio shows I find offensive (they often go together of course).

(11,804 posts)Unfortunately my work mandated cellphone is not an android so have to see if something similar exists for my fruit-branded cell phone.
Oh I'll just admit it - I have one of those new Mango Salsa phones.

(9,126 posts)I try to stick with buying from small US companies when I can, because even if the CEO is a major asshole, he might not be rich enough to do damage. Most big companies of any kind are manipulating things somewhere.
