Police Mercilessly Punch Defenseless Man In The Head As Walmart Shoppers Watch In Horror

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/08/25/police-mercilessly-punch-defenseless-man-in-the-head-as-walmart-shoppers-watch-in-horror-video/

Walmart shoppers in South Carolina were left traumatized on Saturday after local police in Greenville beat the hell out of a defenseless man in front of them. And the whole thing was caught on camera.

Police were called to the store at 1:00pm to respond to concerns about an allegedly intoxicated man standing outside the front doors. After officers arrived on the scene, the man told them “I’m 911″ and went inside the store. An officers used a taser to take the unknown man down. But police didn’t stop there. They decided to demonstrate what police brutality looks like as shoppers watched.

One officer mercilessly kept punching the man in the head while he was lying on the floor. Witnesses, who said police actions in Ferguson, Missouri have caused them to pay more attention to what police do, begged the officers to stop.

“Please don’t punch him like that. Please don’t. Don’t punch him no more,” one customer can be heard saying in the background of a cell phone video of the incident.

The drunk wasn't following directions and the cop lost it.

Cops do an ugly, often thankless job. However, they need better training in how to deal with drunks and crazy people.

Unfortunately, like Vogons, they'd find the job considerably less attractive if there wasn't as much shouting involved.

Akin to losing one's license to ethical or medical violations, cops should lose their ability to be employed if there are reports of brutality. Or better yet, some kind of cop credentialing system and accountability. They recruit those with violent tendencies, roid them up and then unleash them on the public.

one night I was in municipal traffic court and there were a couple cops in there. Both had big biceps and looked like they worked out a lot. In addition, they had tattoos like you wouldn't believe!

They looked clean cut but I do recall thinking it odd for a police officer to be that in shape. I mean, what about the donuts?

On the other hand, I was shopping for cat food in the grocery store and there was an officer in there who was not only quite handsome, but regular in size. He had on his uniform and some type of radio receiver. He was clearly shopping for cat food while on duty. He was also on his cell phone talking to his girlfriend or wife about what type of cat food to buy.

When he got off the phone, he asked me how many cats I had. I told him and he said, "I love my cat."

I don't know what to think of all this.

it becomes addictive.

Besides weight gain/muscle mass and strength gain, steroids also bring a feeling of invincibility and well being.

A lot of the dependance becomes psychological.

The ones who talk about taking them say they get older and see younger criminals who are bigger, stronger and/or frenzied on drugs and taking steroids and beefing up helps them cope.

One of the bad side effects, apart from rage is brain damage. After a certain point, they permanently affect your brain.

placed in them by their bosses, that would be the people who pay their pretty good salaries and benefits.

As we saw in Ferguson, the police CAUSE violence. As soon as they show up, there is violence. When they are NOT there, things are peaceful. Same thing happened during OWS, once they showed up, the violence began.

Many people are now more afraid of THEM than they are of criminals.

Something needs to be done about them, they are a threat to the safety and well being of the people more often than not these days. Too many dead citizens at the hands of these thugs.

Enough is enough.

This incident is another example of police brutality but it’s also an example of how white police officers treat white citizens differently than they treat black citizens.

You can tell the ladies at the store's body language was in the movement of wanting to help because internally her whole insides were telling her this was all wrong. And that cop had no reason to hit her. Of course she going to be upset and saying ugly things.. It's his job to be in control... The subsequent punching was needless and the little girl must have been absolutely terrified... bTW, she was shoplifting clothes for the little girl. In America today, it's what some feel they have to do to make it from one day to the next. I bet the store manager regrets calling the police. And I hope this lady sued the pants off the police! Along with the one who was pushed into the seat bench with no reason. The other 2, I think is over the top, but it is probably "justifiable" in today's standards... One had a gun on him and the other wouldn't "comply". Which brings up a whole other issue, when u r beating the crap out of someone, a body's natural instinct is to run and get away OR curl up in a ball to protect vital organs. Lying out flat in a flight or fight mode is exactly the opposite of what is taking over naturally in ones body instincts. It rarely ends well when it comes to these beat down items. The result is not compliance because of ones survival instincts naturally taking over in the situation.
