Jon Stewart to Fox/Hannity/O'Reilly:"Race Is A Constant-You really do have no f*cking idea, do you?"

He took Bill O'Reilly to task for cutting his vacation short to rage against the way the media covered the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, but not at the shooting itself. The comedian also slammed Sean Hannity for saying that he would simply lift his shirt to let an officer know he had a gun if he were ever stopped by police.

"You really do have no f*cking idea, do you?" he said. "If only Michael Brown, instead of holding his hands over his head, had reached down to his waist and lifted up his shirt to show the gun he did not actually have, well, this whole tragedy could have been avoided."

...................

To illustrate, he shared that a white "The Daily Show" producer clad in "homeless elf attire" once went out in New York City to tape an interview, accompanied by a black correspondent for the show dressed in a well-tailored suit. The black correspondent was the one stopped when entering the building.

"Race is there, and it is a constant," Stewart said. "You're tired of hearing about it? Imagine how f*cking exhausting it is living it."

And ended with the Senior Black Correspondent in space...... Getting pulled over, (offscreen cop voice) "That's an expensive looking helmet you have there" or something to that effect.

... at Jon Stewart's incredible ability to be on vacation when the shit comes down? He even commented on it himself after his last vacation...

The dude is like radar. He should publish his vacation schedule in advance, so we'll all know when the world is going to go up in flames.

The more they get angry, the more they speak the truth.

Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and John Oliver.

Three white men who are making a positive difference.

Jon Missed a joke during that segment. Hannity was giving an example of how one should behave when confronted by cops. He said something like "Whenever I'm stopped . . .? giving the impression that he gets stopped a lot.

They are handed a script from the powers-to-be to push the mantra they wish to share with the sheeps watching their channel. Faux News is nothing more than a real life "Animal Farm"

Whether or not O'Reilly has a clue is irrelevant. The important issue is that he is paid to tell lies to millions.

First of all, let me point out that Hannity is an asshole. He should put it on his 1040 form under occupation: "professional asshole", but I've been wondering where Stewart has been. I can find no explanation online for his absence again this week. Does anyone know?

On edit:
I see from the article that he returned last night. I missed that because I assumed he had another week off. Damn it.

Thanx for posting.

inadvertently demonstrated the reason why this country must continue shedding light on racial problems. There are real things happening to real people based on what they look like, and for these talking heads to deny it means that there is still work to be done. Racism can be better fought once more people finally acknowledge it.
