BUSTED!! Secret audio nails Mitch! Endangered McConnell busted humiliating himself on tape

A GOP Senate, he promised, would slash funds to the ACA, Dodd-Frank and the EPA, and block a minimum wage hike

JOAN WALSH

This year Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell chose to spend Father’s Day with two GOP political sugar-daddies, Charles and David Koch, at their annual retreat, this time at the lovely St. Regis Monarch Bay resort in Orange County, Calif. As befit the day, McConnell brought the love: “I want to start by thanking you, Charles and David, for the important work you’re doing. I don’t know where we’d be without you.”

It’s a good thing McConnell sucked up to the wealthy right-wing industrialists. He could be looking for a job soon, once Kentuckians (and opponent Alison Lundergan Grimes) hear the audiotape of the session obtained by the Nation. (A transcript can be found here.)

The same weekend ISIL began approaching Baghdad, and Eric Cantor had just lost his primary for, among other reasons, being too cozy with big donors, McConnell took time to schmooze the Kochs and their network of funders and organizers. He wasn’t the only Senate candidate there: the next day, GOP Senate nominees Joni Ernst of Iowa, Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Cory Gardner of Colorado joined the retreat, the Nation’s Lauren Windsor has reported, and all pledged allegiance to the Kochs.

“The exposure to this group and to this network, and the opportunity to meet so many of you, really started my trajectory,” kvelled Ernst, who attended the summit last year. (You can hear audio of her remarks at the Huffington Post).

student activism? Why are they not outraged that they are thrown under the bus because of one party blocking everything at the request of two men whose boots they lick in gratitude for the money they give? Why are they not voting the bums out along with every other group of folks the GOP openly detests?

"....the student loan package the other day, that’s just going to make things worse, uh. These people believe in all the wrong things."

Unfreaky unreal, this bald drunken speech at the the day is a campaign gold mine....shades of the Romney video that did him in for sure.

Reminds me of that line from Fight Club...
"We cook your meals, we clean your clothes, we guard your houses, we watch you while you sleep.
Do not...Fuck with us."
If it's 2 to 1 to raise the min wage in Kentucky and they see this, he may as well not even finish the campaign, he's DONE.

MITCH MCCONNELL: Most things in the Senate require 60, but not the votes, and the President doesn’t sign the votes. So in the House and Senate, we own the budget. So what does that mean? That means that we can pass the spending bill. And I assure you that in the spending bill, we will be pushing back against this bureaucracy by doing what’s called placing riders in the bill. No money can be spent to do this or to do that. We’re going to go after them on healthcare, on financial services, on the Environmental Protection Agency, across the board (inaudible). All across the Federal government, we’re going to go after it.

What a butt-hole. Well this should leave NO doubt in anyone's mind what the GOP agenda is (not that any of us were under any delusions...). I would hope that members of their own tribe would be aghast but I don't think they'll think there is a thing wrong with what Turtle Boy said.

Most of what I am seeing that was said is the kind of stuff that stimulates republican's to the point of sexual arousal ... I could be wrong, but I have a hard time seeing how in KENTUCKY what he said is some kind problem.

But, I haven't seen the full transcript ...

This should be a big talking point for the Dems in the run-up to the Nov election.

MSM is not picking up on this either. The American People need to know what is in store for them if they let the Repubs take both the Senate and the House.

I just don't know how the Repubs can do that anyway - they are on the wrong side of every issue. Unfortunately - it doesn't look like this message is getting to the American People.

It's the same thing in Illinois where the Repub candidate for Governor is running ahead of the incumbant. He's going to do to the state what all the GOP Gov's do. Yet the people here seem to be backing him. I just don't get it.

(Hand over heart....if you can find it....oh just hold your wallet instead)

I pledge allegiance to the Kochs
And to the destruction of the Republic for which they stand
One nation
(under the narrow view of a Christian god)
Indivisible (unless futures speculations imply that will bring more revenue)
With liberty and justice for just us.
Ka-ching!

If we would all develop an entrepreneurial approach, we’d be able to lift this country up and send us in a new direction, just like all of you have done.

They think employees are simply stupid people who haven't woken up to the idea that they can own their own business. Instead, the Democrats tell them the government is there to help them and take care of them and it's not their fault they're stupid and to hate their boss and the rich.
