This is a case you've probably never even heard about but the controversy continues here, more than a year later. I'm posting this because it's just one more example of police out of control, especially in dealing with black men.

Autopsy shows Martinsburg police shot Virginia man 23 times
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. The autopsy report for a 50-year-old man who was shot and killed last year by Martinsburg police officers documents 23 gunshot wounds, including 12 shots to the back and buttocks.
Wayne A. Jones died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds, with injuries to multiple organs, including his brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidney and stomach, West Virginia Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Jimmie Smith said in the report...
...The officers were armed with Sig Sauer .45-caliber handguns that hold nine rounds in the magazine. There were a corresponding number of bullets remaining in each officers firearm that reflected how many rounds were fired, according to the lawsuit...
...The amended complaint claims that Jones body was left on the ground at the scene of the shooting for about four hours....
There are more articles about this case, some published even in the U.K.
