Here in Sheboygan, most of what we see are the usual signs on peoples' lawns.
On TV, it's the governor's race, Burke vs Walker.
I don't listen to the radio, so I don't know about that.

I realize that one's sui generis.

(36,216 posts)And it's skewering Ami Bera (CA7) on his support on Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Bera is facing former congressman Doug Ose in what will prove to be a heated race. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is actively supporting Ose, and Karl Rove's Crossroads has invested serious jingle ($900,000) on early ad buys for Doug Ose.
It's like that single ad is the artillery barrage designed to soften up the enemy before the invasion; soon come, it's gonna get real ugly.

(5,364 posts)I don't watch at home, but I'm exposed to it on the lunchroom/breakroom TV at work.
Sleazy ads by republicans aimed at dolts who don't think anything through at all. Usually pro-business, pro-oil/fracking, anti-ACA and of course anti-democratic candidate/incumbent. All done tugging at populistic and/or "values" strings. A person capable of critical thinking would have to be freshly cloned and air-dropped in to take that crap at face value. It's delivered in such a rapid-fire "gish gallop" way though that it would take 5 or 6 minutes of concise rebuttal to counter a lousy 30-second piece from those vipers.

(30,947 posts)Purdue is doing most of the attack ads. Nunn is just rebutting in her ads what he says negatively about her.
