Am I the only one who's thrilled that the NFL is tax exempt?

Something like a $billion a year in subsidies from tax payers.

I guess they earn it by running some sort of program for employing people who beat the crap out of their spouses. But I think there may be other programs that are cheaper and more effective.

Whatever.

3. I'm almost as thrilled over that as I am with the subsidies we give the oil companies.

Of course the oil companies are better, I've never seen them give a knockout blow to a woman in an elevator.

It is how we are rallied in defense of everything the oligarchy wants to do.

Red team, Blue team. American team. Go, team!

It is the perverse, constantly hyped scenery behind which all the profitable slaughter and looting and despair and weeping into graves can happen.

Grab your bloody pom poms. Go, America!

We are suiting up against Islamic State!

The NFl(National Football League) in organized under 501c6 as a non-profitwhich makes them tax exempt, that's not the teams themselves which enjoy many tax subsidies through their state legislatures which says nothing about the stadiums taxpayers paid for.

Any act that will be the half time show during the Super Bowl should pay the NFL ....... Should pay the NFL. Now that is just funny.... The BILLION dollar industry wants the entertainment, million dollar industry to pay the Billion dollar industry to perform at a billion dollar entertainment show. That is just hysterical, and the lowly fans that make it from week to week with the wins and losses of their favorite home team, just try to get by on their lower to minimum wage job and root for their team.
